An interior design theme that releases undreamt-of energies. lively improving + liberating gives our home a new dynamic. Powerful colours, graphic contrasts and artistically designed products convey a positive attitude. At the same time, we are also drawn out into the physical world: Creative ideas from designers, artists and urban planners stimulate and motivate. We want to tread the path out of these difficult times together with others. Change is visible and tangible.

The palette of lively improving + liberating conveys an optimistic, positive attitude. Summery, luminous tones bring warmth. Fresh, clear nuances underscore the diverse nature of this dynamic interior theme. Lively contrasts are intentional: The clearly opposing shades allow for bold colour schemes and provide the perfect foundation for strong graphic accents. A dark slate tone contrasts with concrete white. Sand complements the neutral colour range. Petrol, fresh tropical green and Mediterranean blue provide cool highlights. Conversely, sunny orange yellow, a striking shade of coral and terracotta lend a warm radiance.
With nine colours, the palette offers the possibility of multiple, individual micro-colour themes that may be interpreted as cool or warm.

In the lively improving + liberating theme, furniture and home accessories have an artistic touch. Clear evidence of artisanal skills can be found everywhere: Patterns such as checks and stripes are dynamically applied by hand. Ceramics, in particular, stand out with their artistic surface designs – hatchings and textures, material mixes with glass or wood, or glazed surfaces with unglazed details. Motifs from folklore give products a lively appeal and are being rediscovered by many designers. Textiles are hand-tufted, pleated or assembled into exciting arrangements from fabric remnants. Tiles are hand-formed with irregular surfaces. Eye-catching designs, geometrical motifs and graphic contrasts create emphatically striking looks and a powerful dynamic.
Mobile furniture can be used flexibly – indoors or out. Wheeled armchairs, tables and objects remind us that we can modify and enhance our home at any time. They fit well with the active attitude of lively improving + liberating. Extending the living space is meant quite literally: Some furniture can even be taken quite easily to the park.

We feel the urge to experience the physical world with all our senses. Being out in the fresh air has become an integral part of our everyday lives. lively improving + liberating incorporates this attitude to life. The extension of the home into the public domain has a motivating effect. We like to be encouraged to be active. Together with like-minded people, we are seeking ideas for a people-friendly city in which there is a place for all areas of life: living and working, leisure time and consumption, and of course art and culture. Creative projects open up new spaces and revitalise old ones.
A young generation of craftworkers is bringing fresh energy to the world of products – with lovingly created objects that are often sold directly from the studio or workshop. Small shops and galleries also present works by local creatives and artisans. Designers, architects and product developers now want to work together in hyper-local and non-digital networks. The focus is on exchanging ideas and searching for improvement potentials. These collaborations result in warm-hearted, often playfully designed objects with an artistic feel that make our everyday lives friendlier and more fun.
The creativity with which improvements and unconventional solutions are explored is contagious. This optimistic attitude has an effect on our homes and on ourselves. We want to become active and help shape things. The right time for change is now. We share this feeling with our neighbours, with urban planners and with creatives. Our shared mission: To create positive feelings with verve.
